WEST ORISTANO AND PENISOLA DEL SINIS: a real natural jewel

The coasts of the province of Oristano will satisfy the most demanding travellers thanks to the great natural richness of the territory: dramatic landscapes, unique quartz beaches, high limestone cliffs and much more. It is an ideal place to practice all types of water sports, such as sailing, surfing, windsurfing and kite surfing, favored by the almost constant presence of the Mistral, a strong, northwesterly wind. The diving and snorkeling are another activities widely practiced along the Oristano coast, characterized by crystal clear and rich seabed. A great part of the territory creates the Marine Protected Area Peninsula of Sinis – Isola di Mal di Ventre, one of the largest protected areas of Italy.
