Sa Mandra is located in the north west of Sardinia, a few miles from the town of Alghero, also known as Barceloneta – little Barcelona – because of its ancestry and closeness to the Catalan capital. With Sa Mandra as a starting point, guests can enjoy the famous Sardinian sea, while also exploring the countryside and discovering the landscapes and agro-pastoral activities typical of ancestral Sardinia.
Walking through the alleys of Sa Mandra is like going on a journey through time. Guests are hosted in the old farmhouse, painstakingly restored maintaining all the original features intact. The gardens are fragrant with herbs, in memory of the gardens of Sardinian women who fed and cared for the community with their herbs and plants.
